When this website is accessed, technical access data are processed by IONOS. According to IONOS, these data include:

• time of access; and
• the IP address in anonymised form.

The data are processed to provide the website securely and reliably and to ensure the stability of the hosting service. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the secure, stable and technically functional provision of this website.

According to IONOS, these data are retained for eight weeks. IONOS states that the data are not disclosed to third parties and are not transferred to countries outside the European Union.

IONOS processes hosting data on my behalf in accordance with Article 28 GDPR.

3. IONOS WebAnalytics

IONOS WebAnalytics is used as part of the hosting service for statistical evaluation and technical optimisation of this website.

According to IONOS, the data are collected through server logfiles or a tracking pixel. WebAnalytics does not use cookies. The IP address transmitted when a page is accessed is anonymised immediately and is subsequently processed without personal reference.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in understanding the technical use of the website and maintaining its performance and stability.

4. Contact by email

This website does not use a contact form. The “Write to me” link opens the email application configured on your device. Clicking the link itself does not transmit the contents of an email to me through this website.

If you contact me by email, I process the information contained in your message, including your email address and any name or other details you provide, solely for the purpose of responding to your enquiry.

Where your enquiry relates to a possible contractual relationship, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. In other cases, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest lies in responding to enquiries addressed to me.

The data will be deleted when the enquiry has been conclusively dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims require longer retention.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you may request access to, correction or deletion of personal data relating to you. You may also request restriction of processing, object to certain processing and, where applicable, request data portability.

These rights apply only to the extent provided by law. I am not required to collect additional information solely in order to identify a visitor in anonymised website data.
